Aveda Institute Portland graduate, Sophie Dilly-Mason, started her mobile business after graduating this March. Beauty by Sophie brings facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, and more right into her clients living room.

“When I was a little younger, I did think it would be better to go to college,” she said of her decision. “It’s more traditional and that’s what a lot of people think is best to do. I figured since I knew what I wanted to do and I didn’t need a degree for it, it would just be better in the long run to go to a trade school instead. I won’t have any student debt now because I was able to pay for it.”
