Government/Regulatory Oversight

AACS works hard to protect the rights of beauty students and school owners at all levels of government with active Federal, State, and Accreditation Committees. The AACS Government Relations Committee (GRC) is comprised of  dedicated volunteers that work with AACS public policy advisor to advocate for the rights and need of our industry.

This team is the official representative of AACS and its membership to the Executive and Legislative branches of the Federal Government and the U.S. Department of Education. Their responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing and responding to issues affecting member schools and students.
