Megan Cruz, Senior Vice President of MSP, is the acting Executive Director dedicated to AACS. Megan has 12 years in association management experience including strategic planning, board and volunteer management, financial management, project direction, national and international speaking, team leadership and development, strategic partnerships, customer service and, member engagement.
Megan brings experience as executive director of several organizations, including the US Travel Insurance Association, American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds and, the Federal Judges Association. In her role, she reports to and advises boards of directors, acts as the spokesperson, supports volunteer committees and taskforces, and directs the work of the association’s staff team. She also served as international program director for the American Society of Association Executives, building communities inside and outside the US and representing ASAE worldwide. Megan spent time in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and still teaches weekly classes.
Megan grew up in Houston, Texas and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She lives in Washington, DC.
