Before COVID-19, The Studio Academy of Beauty would have over 70 little girls and moms come to their campus for Mother’s Day for makeovers, lunch, and professional pictures. The event supports HopeKids and always leaves a lasting impression on the children and the team at TSAOB.

Last year due to the pandemic, the school reluctantly had to cancel this amazing event. This year the faculty, students, and staff were not going to let anything get in their way. They decided to do a drive-thru event! TSAOB created beauty bags, inspirational signs, and dressed silly costumes to make the children and their moms smile. The families took their beauty bags home, and the school did virtual makeup classes and classes about how to apply nail polish, giving each little girl and their mom a virtual day of beauty. While everyone wished they could have been in person, everyone agreed the day was a huge success and was still a blast!

AACS is proud to highlight the TSAOB team for all they do as members of their community. Creativity and innovation allowed them to do something positive for these little girls who desperately needed a smile. HopeKids is an organization committed to restoring hope and transforming the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions, their families, and the communities in which we serve. They focus on five research-driven impact areas to ease the journey for families walking through the hardest time in their lives.
