Our members at Bene’s Career Academy recently hosted Congressman Daniel Webster. Congressman Webster toured the school, met some of the students, and discussed the impact financial aid has had on their education. Every student that was asked said that they would not have been able to attend school without the assistance of federal funding.

One student who spoke with Congressman Webster is a full-time specialty student studying skin and nails. The program is 600 hours and will take about six months to complete. She expressed to Congressman Webster that she thought she could earn $50,000 in her first year and that she had a job waiting for her after she graduates and obtains her license.

Bene’s Career Academy continues to advocate for accountability for all institutions that enjoy state subsidies, federal subsidies, and favorable status in the legislative arena for vocational schools, as well as academic two- and four-year institutions.
