The AACS Public Relations Team led by Baran Strategy has been hard at work connecting our members to their Members of Congress, whether in-person or virtually. Elaine Sterling Institute and PCI Academy recently hosted virtual tours at their respective campuses.

Elaine Sterling Institute, based in Atlanta, Georgia, met with Ms. Laila Goharioon, a legislative assistant in the Office of U.S. Sen. John Ossof (D-GA). The virtual tour featured a diverse student body and faculty, a wonderful tour around a beautiful school, and lots of interaction between Laila; Elaine; Asha Sterling, chief operating officer; and Ryan Agnew, institute director.

Michelle Duncan from PCI Academy based in Ames, Iowa, virtually hosted U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-IA). Michelle walked him around campus, explaining the various programs offered locally and the tremendous impact that our schools have on local workforces.

“It was an honor to be able to speak with Representative Feenstra about our amazing industry, wonderful students, and their future as licensed professionals.” said Michelle. “We are excited to host Representative Feenstra in person next time he’s in Ames. I’m grateful to AACS for their effort in organizing, preparing for, and executing this event, which was a great success!”
