Lisha Barnes currently serves as the Academic Development Manager for Milady. She is responsible for developing and delivering the Master Educator instructor training program, Master Educator Online Instructor series, Milady’s Academic Blog, supporting schools with curriculum develop and product knowledge. She is a licensed cosmetologist, barber and instructor and is committed to improving the quality of cosmetology education.
She received a Bachelors of Science in Communications from Eastern New Mexico University and her Cosmetology, Barber and Student Instructor training at Olympian University of Cosmetology.
Lisha’s thorough understanding of the cosmetology school industry comes from over 25 years of hands on experience serving in various roles, including Instructor, Director of Education, Admissions, Financial Aid, Accreditation, and School Administrator for multiple private cosmetology schools.

Lisha has worked on numerous writing projects for Milady and various industry publications. She has presented multiple Continuing Education approved courses to thousands of educators across her career as via school trainings, state associations events and national conferences such as CEA and AACS. This industry experience allows her to see the industry from a variety of viewpoints, which helps in sharing information and ideas with educators all around the world.
As co-founder of Beauty As A Business, Stephanie Carter helps schools set their students up for social media success. Stephanie started her career in television news, then moved into PR for a private college and then marketing. In nearly four years of specializing in beauty school marketing, Stephanie has seen what it takes for schools to more than double their lead counts and enrollments. In her session, Stephanie will talk about the impact students' social media can have on a school's reputation, brand and leads. By teaching their students how to correctly use social media, schools can leverage an important organic and authentic marketing channel that will resonate with the audiences they're trying to reach most.
Jennifer is the Director of Education and Development for Moored Beauty Schools. With over 25 years of experience working in the beauty and wellness industry, Jennifer has spent time working behind the chair in the salon, as a spa tech, and as a salon manager. For the past 10 years, she has taken her passion for the industry and focused it on building the next generation of salon professionals as a cosmetology instructor, campus director, high school program coordinator and education director for Moored Beauty Schools. For the past 5 years, she has been attending and working AACS conventions and extending her passion and determination for great education to other educators, admissions professionals and school owners. Jennifer is a winner of the Star Educator Contest, and the AACS Spirit of Service Award, and the CEA/AMP Committee Chair for 2020.
Parker Dickens is a name only to be used with hushed and reverent tones, especially when it comes to online marketing. This advertising expert is known by many beauty school owners and directors as one who hits 11 out of 10 client expectations. Although Parker slays industry averages such as year over year growth, cost per lead and cost per enrollment, his biggest accomplishment in the last year has been winning over the heart of an exceptional young lady from the north (eh?) and marrying her. Parker is Oozle Media’s director of accounts and has worked with over 70 beauty schools to help them get the most out of their marketing dollars.
Tracy Donley is an accomplished, achievement-driven sales and marketing senior executive with more than 20 years of experience working with C-level clients at national and international Fortune 500 companies. Her successful track record of growing revenue and sales teams through strategic sales direction, analytical thinking, and creative solutions has led her to work within a diverse set of industries which include professional beauty, financial planning, investment banking, precious metals, high-end homes and lifestyle brands.
Tracy has launched award winning, multi-million dollar, B2B national publications and online suites of customized revenue-generating lead collection products. Tracy has loved media since she was a kid and briefly had her own TV show called Aspen’s Talking in Aspen Colorado, as well as played the “intern” on the morning show for a small radio station in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She has transformed that passion into creating technique and educational videos and has recently launched a new podcast series and magazine for hairstylists.
She is a high-energy, innovative, and enthusiastic executive who enjoys sales, strategic planning, and inspiring teams. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives on new opportunities to create businesses and products that solve problems and encourage desire. When Tracy isn’t busy immersing herself into all things beauty and skin care, she enjoys negotiating iPad time with her 5-year-old daughter Kennedy, playing board games with 13-year-old Kylie, FaceTiming with her 22-year-old son, Cole, and drinking wine with her husband, Jonathan.
Mr. Brandon Dixon has been a part of the beauty industry for more than sixteen years, ten of which he’s dedicated to Cosmetology Education. After spending three years at a production company and starting his own makeup company in Dallas, Texas, he discovered his knack for education. He uncovered that his true passion lies in helping others to unlock their full potential by discovering a fulfilling and enriching career. Having stepped out of the public sector and into the private sector, Brandon is currently the Director of Education for Sunstate Academy Fort Myers and Clearwater in Florida. When he is not conquering reports and mentoring his faculty members, he enjoys kayaking and relaxing on the peaceful Florida beachside.
As a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor, Daniel has the privilege of sharing Pivot Point education globally. Mixing technology within the classroom and seeing others find inspiration in the hair designs he creates fuels his passion as a Field Educator.
Daniel has performed hair on stage at ABS and has provided education in almost all 50 of the United States, as well as Sweden, Denmark and Canada!

Jessica Gil is the Director of Industry Engagement and Relations at European Wax Center. She is responsible for identifying and establishing innovative ways to ensure EWC is recognized as the industry leader for potential applicants. As licensed cosmetologist herself, she is fueled by her passion for people and the industry.
Victoria Lim has led award-winning communications efforts at the highest levels for organizations in global entertainment, electronic auto manufacturing, telecommunications, national sports leagues and beauty. She is also an Emmy and AP honored journalist who set herself apart from the industry norm almost two decades ago as one of the first journalists to utilize the practice of multimedia storytelling. Lim has conducted trainings around the world on best practices for content marketing, public relations and journalism.
Currently, Kim and her husband Stan McIntosh own Crave Beauty Academy. She changed the name of Xenon International Academy to Crave Beauty Academy in Wichita, KS, and Ballwin (St. Louis), MO in December 2014. Kim and her husband acquired Xenon International Academy in Kansas and Missouri in 2013. Prior to the acquisition, the past eighteen years Kim has been a partner in three of the six Xenon International Academy campuses. Her educational background includes college studies in Business Administration and Marketing. Kim has been active in the Beauty Industry for twenty four years. She holds a Cosmetology, Esthetics and Instructor license in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. She has worked behind the chair, salon owner, spa management and as a manufacturer educator teaching professionals in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado. Kim opened Salon Crave in December 2014. Kim currently serves on the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) board for the last fifteen years. Kim has served in various positions on the AACS board to include; Vice-President, Secretary, Historian, co-chair of the Annual AACS Convention, chair of the CEA convention, team leader of events and supervised an education task force team. Kim also serves on the MACS -Missouri Association of Cosmetology Schools. She is also very active in the communities of the Crave locations; she serves on the board for Cricket Alley Ministries, she is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women’s Business Owners (NAWBO), National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) and is currently chair of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association/Go Red for Women.
Aliesh Pierce is the author of Treating Diverse Pigmentation, Milady’s first foray into the world of multi-ethnic education. She began her career in the beauty industry as a celebrity makeup artist to notable figures like India.Arie, Ming Na Wen, and the Obama family. However, when she wanted to get to the core of her client’s concerns, she turned to skin care and has been a licensed esthetician for 16 years.
Her aesthetics career includes holding positions as the Director of Education for DMK, the Marketing Manager for R&E Labs, and the Product Training Specialist for Vitality Institute. She is currently an independent consultant for brands that are developing a multi-ethnic strategy.
Aliesh shares her knowledge through the courses on her e-learning platform. She also offers customized coaching programs where she guides her students through case studies to go deeper than mere theory.
Chris has dedicated a lifetime as a high performing stylist, salon owner and partner in a cosmetology school, and global educator. In 2013, he transitioned into education as a full time calling. Starting his education career at Redken, Chris was able to share real-time business building strategies with stylists. Before long, he found himself helping to develop education teams at both Keune Haircosmetics and Living Proof. “Teaching all over the world and working with some of the best educators in the business has given me a unique perspective, and deep insight. The business of being a hairdresser has changed, and we need to evolve with it. In the past few years I’ve learned new tools that every salon and stylist can use to set themselves apart in their speciﬁc market.” Chris is an author and speaker, but most importantly, a practicing hairdresser.
The cosmetology industry is a main focus for SalesComm and Rob in particular. Rob has spoken in almost every major city in the Country with almost every major brand in the Industry, helping to improve their show rates. He does as many as 30 trainings a week over the phone and 2-3 13 hour in person trainings a month. He has helped hundreds of admissions and service employees over the years increase sales and decrease their no-show rates as much as 60%. Schools that work with SalesComm often see show rates of up to 95% on a regular basis. He continually works on new ways to help each school. This is his life and his passion!
